Fines for Failing to Comply

As of 1st July 2021, when a brand new or renewed contract is signed on a Roys Hill rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance work have to be finished by the end of 90 days.

From the 1st of July in 2021, when a new, renewed or varied Tenancy is signed for a Roys Hill rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance work must be finished within 90 days.

Tenancies that were signed beginning on 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2021

  • Insulation of the underfloor and ceiling is mandatory throughout Roys Hill and New Zealand rental houses where it is reasonably practicable to install.
